Our Mission

While there are many health and environmental benefits to eating healthy, local and organic foods, the costs of such foods are often seen as not financially viable for many families. At the Community Nutrition Partnership, we believe that everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, has the right to choose a healthy diet. This organization aims to change both the perception that healthy, local food is costly as well as provide options for healthy eating at affordable prices. One way in which we will work towards this goal is by opening a restaurant that will serve nutritious, locally and organically grown food at fast food prices. In addition, we will offer nutrition programs, which will help empower community members to feed themselves and their families in a healthier manner.
